| Details | This prestigious international sporting event, held every four years, requires flexible and mobile interpreters. We provided services to a British generator rental company that was one of the event’s official sponsors. This was a large-scale project, so we arranged a full-time contract and were in charge of managing and supervising interpreters for the client. We needed more than 70 interpreters, which first meant recruiting and screening superb talent. We hired, contracted, trained, and oversaw the team. The actual work required us to be in the field at times, which we accommodated effectively. While such large-scale events are rare, and moreover, this event was held after a one-year delay because of the pandemic, we take pride in how we flexibly and successfully met our client’s needs. |

| Details | Provided continuous and seamless on-site interpreting services for the six-year temporary power generation project. Our interpreter was responsible for the entire project, from commissioning to decommissioning, including operation and maintenance. As there was only one interpreter was assigned, he provided a wide range of comprehensive support, including meetings, on-site interpreting, document translation, as well as day-to-day support for the expatriates in Japan. The initial stage work was completed within a tight deadline. As a result, our interpreter had to handle the pressure of a tense atmosphere. The working conditions were also challenging. Our interpreter worked alongside the engineers in extreme temperatures, sometimes as low as -24 degrees, and covered early morning and late night shifts. |
